It's hard to talk about what God is teaching you...I know I have struggled with self-esteem issues and God showed me last year that He loves me as I am. He taught me that confidence is okay, and that humility isn't about thinking less of yourself, but thinking of yourself less. I have feared that transparency and the vulnerability that comes through sharing (especially in the new pageant world where everyone is reading everyone else's blogs), but it's only by being authentic that we can grow and develop real intimacy with each other. I did peek in the door and saw a wonderful sight. Our pastors wives on stage talking and smiling and a room full of women truly enjoying themselves. It is good to share hurts, humilities and those things that don't make us proud. I haven't been able to share my hurt much but have been so much more aware of those needing help. I am so thankful to have a relationship with Jesus our Lord, good family and friends, and a loving and supportive church.
