The F-5 tornado that tore apart Joplin is unbelievable. The devastation, shock & nationwide mourning remind me of the OKC bombing in many ways, but I’m amazed at how different the technology is between these two tragedies in my own backyard. In ’95, Oklahomans and Americans alike sat by the TV, donated blood and wrote letters of support. Today we can text donations, get updates on loved ones through Facebook & the nation’s support is just a tweet away.
